FYI we get many inquiries regarding KFLOP compatibility and Leadshine drives as Leadshine normally specifies a 5us Direction Setup Time requirement before a Step Pulse and KSTEP can only provide a max of 4us making KFLOP incompatible with Leadshine Drives. After several inquiries to Leadshine we received the quote below:
“The
ES-D and ES-DH drives supports both 200KHz and 500KHz max frequency
(defaulted to 200 KHz, and software or Built-in LED Display configurable
for 500 KHz). The hardware in those drives will support 2us direction
setup time. Therefore, the drive be compatible with KFLOP control I/O
board.
We will update our user manual to correct the direction setup time, accept our apologies for any inconvenience.“
